High School - Second Critics
Architectural Construction Studio (ARCH 301) Project
High School Design
To get rid of the symmetry and the monotony of the structure, the project turned into a more dynamic form, following the F.L. Wright principles of "breaking the box". An emphasis has been made to the entrances, the inner circulation and more importantly to the classroom lightening. To allow the light into the circulation halls transparent materials have been used, as for the classroom and the library new elements to get uniform light from the north have been used. The east and west low-ray shading is again emphasized. The facade is to be repaired.
